My passion (what motivates me to get up in a morning?)

Family, Friends, “Work” Yes, believe it or not work is my vocation, possibilities are endless, Put another way: “My passion is my Life’s Work”

You’ve heard the tune in the TV advert? “I work 8 hours, sleep 8 hours and keep 8 hours for fun” My version: “I sleep 8 hours (sometimes) and keep 16 hours for fun”

A large part of my life’s work and the source of a lot of my own happiness and fulfillment is helping others achieve, having a laugh along the way, seeing people happy!

Personal:

I am a proud family man, married to Diane over 50 years, been together 54 years and boy have I been lucky having her beside me. We have two wonderful children, Mandy married to Mike and Brad married to Sarah and between them they gave us eight wonderful grand-children, now aged between 14 and 26. I myself, one of four siblings with Diane, the youngest of eleven siblings. A wonderful large extended family.

“Education starts at Home” – “Character Building” – In my case, having a loving but strict, ethical mum and dad and with having an extended family this big, plus their other-halves, children, grandchild, nephews, nieces, cousins with their friends across the whole lot, add to that 100’s of work friends and colleagues over the years! I’ve had as many teachers as I needed to learn “Emotional Intelligence”. Patience, consideration, tolerance, pride, honesty, self-awareness, caring, sharing, nurturing, humble, empathy, work ethic, these and many more personal attributes are there to learn for everyone – At home and at work!

I thank my lucky stars for being blessed, being part of such a wonderful, diversely rich family foundation from which I have been able to build my life upon.
